Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technician to support our surgical team at AMS Florida. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgeries by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques throughout surgical procedures to prevent infection.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and communicate any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  • Collect and analyze data related to surgical outcomes, infection rates, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
  • Provide post-operative care by dressing wounds, applying bandages, and assisting with patient transfer.

Requirements:

  • Surgical Technician Certification (CST) - Required.
  • One to Two years of Acute Care Experience - Preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $25 - $35
  • Bonus: Up to 15k (S.O.B.)
  • Relocation Assistance: Available
