Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Peri-operative team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, assessing and monitoring patients' medical status while in the OR
  • Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care
  • Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situations
  • Assess patient's condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing care
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year previous perioperative experience or completion of Perioperative Nursing course preferred
  • 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred
  • BSN is preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
  • CNOR preferred
