Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at The Chefs' Warehouse. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory stock to ensure accurate delivery requirements.
  • Follow a set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
  • Utilize maps or GPS to determine and track daily route.
  • Deliver products in a timely manner and ensure accurate inventory matches.
  • Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into vehicle and unload products as needed.
  • Verify inventory matches manifest and scan or write confirmation of delivery upon arrival.
  • Collect signature and/or payments at delivery locations.
  • Deliver goods to specific locations determined by clients.
  • Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.
  • Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while enroute to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product.
Requirements
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Be proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
  • Be physically fit and strong, able to lift 25 pounds comfortably.
  • Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
  • Exhibit a professional and pleasant disposition, able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator.
  • Possess excellent time-management and organizational skills.
