Key Responsibilities:
  • Design shared use path, trail, and complete streets projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Assist in preparing engineering reports and technical studies.
  • Collaborate with team members, other disciplines, and offices, and specialty subconsultants.
  • Perform field investigations and construction phase services support.
  • Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with AASHTO and MassDOT design standards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience working with MassDOT CAD Standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both office and virtual environments.
  • Pro-active attitude, attention to detail, punctual, and organized.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Enjoy challenges and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT required with Massachusetts PE preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in shared use path, trail, and complete street design.

This is a full-time position that will primarily work in an office or virtual setting, with some field work required.
