Responsibilities- Client Representation: Assist clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including debtors, secured creditors, official committees, and unsecured creditors.
- Financial Analysis: Utilize expertise in handling complex workouts and restructurings, reviewing client documents, and advising on asset protection.
- Case Preparation: Assist with case preparation, legal research, writing, briefing, courtroom support, and presentation.
- Document Drafting: Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, proofs of claims, and other legal documents.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with Trustees, Bankruptcy Courts, Local Counsel, and Debtors' Attorneys.
- Court Appearances: Attend creditor meetings and other court hearings.
- License: Licensed to practice law in Texas.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, critical thinker, and excellent business judgment.
