This position plays a critical role in our team by designing and integrating electrical systems into custom power and control products for manufacture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver accurate and reliable electrical design deliverables on various projects, including one-line diagrams, control schematics, submittal packages, and bill of materials.
  • Review vendor bid packages and submittals for technical accuracy and confirm project materials quoted to customers.
  • Perform branch circuits and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment, specifying and sizing components as needed.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Experience with load calculations on machine and control panels per NEC and UL 508A.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and ability to design and document electrical schematics and power distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with production personnel, electrical technicians, and control panel builders.
  • Able to inspect quality of work performed and identify potential flaws and mistakes.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
