Job Title: Associate Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Process Engineer to join our team at Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom. As an Associate Process Engineer, you will play a key role in leading Technology Transfer and equipment onboarding activities in the Commercial Packaging Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical reviewer of master production records for commercial secondary packaging
  • Implement change of scope activities on validated secondary packaging SKUs
  • Establish a solid focus on long-term continuous improvement activities through interaction with the entire Engineering and Operations Staff
  • Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
  • Drive engineering project initiatives to increase machine speeds, reduce labor hours, and reduce reject rates
  • Complete deviation investigations, change controls and corrective/preventative actions
Requirements:
  • A four-year, Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college and/or university in Engineering with 1-3 years of equivalent experience; or 7-10 years in relevant GMP, pharmaceutical or food experience
  • 3+ years of Process Engineering experience
  • Technical Author experience
  • Change management experience
  • Experience in food or pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and PPI
  • Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment
