Job Summary:

The Azek Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recycling Operator to join our team in the Recycling Department. As a Recycling Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a safe and accident-free work environment by adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Operate and maintain recycling equipment, including shredding lines and forklifts.
  • Sort and stage materials for processing, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and adjust material input based on quality testing results.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Specialist to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.
  • Participate in cross-training to perform other operator positions as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification or prior experience required.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
