Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in providing care for diverse patient populations, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Organize and manage daily workload efficiently.
  • Prepare and order necessary radiopharmaceuticals and kits.
  • Calculate and administer correct dosages based on patient-specific information.
  • Conduct patient assessments and explain procedures thoroughly.
  • Set up imaging systems in accordance with established protocols.
  • Evaluate imaging quality prior to interpretation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Certifications: Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or eligibility for certification; must possess a South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association license.
