Position Summary

If you have a strong interest in the biomedical and medical device sectors, this role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth. This position requires approximately 50% travel across the United States, providing you with the chance to discover new locations while contributing to meaningful work. Additionally, you will enjoy travel benefits such as airline miles and hotel points for personal use.

  1. Demonstrate initiative and make independent decisions.
  2. Travel extensively, covering various regions within the continental United States.
  3. Maintain precise service and expense reports, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
  4. Become acquainted with company quality manuals, safety protocols, and manufacturing standards.
  5. Engage professionally with clients through on-site visits and phone communications.
  6. Participate in the assembly and repair of components and devices.
  7. Install and test medical equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  8. Implement strategies to maintain equipment in excellent condition.
  9. Diagnose and resolve device performance issues swiftly.
  10. Be prepared to address equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electrical engineering technology, with coursework in digital and analog circuits.
  • Strong understanding of electronic and engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics, DVM, and oscilloscope.
  • Mechanical aptitude in assembly/disassembly environments and familiarity with various soldering techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Capability to obtain a company credit card.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Effective time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of biomedical devices and electronics.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in the field.
