Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and enforce food handling procedures to control quality
  • Conduct retraining for employees according to established guidelines
  • Conduct audits on locations and employees using various methods to identify areas for improvement
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork or documentation
  • Ensure all records are accurate and communicated to the appropriate personnel
  • Accurately enter data into the Food Operations database
  • Comply and distribute reports to Food Services management on all cash activities, audits, and ongoing investigations
  • Regularly evaluate existing policies and present recommendations to Food Services management
  • Review and track trends to determine possible cases of policy violations or misappropriations
  • Provide information and assistance to employees both over the telephone and in person
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Keep all work and storage areas clean to meet local and state sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Maintain clear lines of communication between management, associates, and other departments
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal and state laws, as well as corporate/company/department policies

Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
  • Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
