Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Coordination: Lead and coordinate all after-school and summer programming, including recreation, snacks, crafts, and other activities.
  • Program Planning: Prepare materials and equipment required for after-school programming, ensuring a well-structured and engaging experience for children.
  • Supervision and Support: Oversee youth participating in the after-school program, providing guidance, encouragement, and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with youth, their families, and community stakeholders, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Program Evaluation: Consistently promote morale, productivity, and professionalism, ensuring the program meets the needs of children and families.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have at least one year of experience working with school-age children.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification, and completion of Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire.
Working Conditions

The work environment will be moderate to loud at times, and you will be required to frequently be in the sun and/or outside in varying weather conditions.
