Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in mechanical assembly, proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves the assembly of components for conveyor systems, requiring physical engagement and the ability to produce multiple parts daily.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble fabricated components at designated workstations.
2. Conduct testing and calibration of parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet specified tolerances and product standards.
3. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble units in accordance with product specifications.
4. Identify and repair units that do not meet testing or tolerance criteria.


Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the mechanical assembly field.
- Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Work under direct supervision, with primary functions not typically requiring independent judgment.


Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items generally at or below 30 lbs. without significant repetition.
- Moderate exposure to machinery and various physical risks is expected.
