Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling industrial air compressor products and parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble industrial air compressor products and parts using manual labor and mechanical tools.
  • Follow specific work instructions, documentation, and training for the area.
  • Pick up, move, and sort small and large parts.
  • Use mechanic tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic and pipe installation tools, and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
  • Sort and place material or items on tables, racks, or bins.
  • Assemble small and large parts manually per specifications.
  • Align mating parts, perform rotational alignments, and pressure tests.
  • Install switches, panels, and lights; cut and make up conduit as directed.
  • Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws, and punches.
  • Remove extraneous material from molded parts.
  • Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or containers.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory of goods.
  • Assume responsibility for quality control, rejecting products outside specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Keep workstation organized; properly storing parts, tools, test equipment, and documentation.
  • Keep area clean and walkways clear.
  • Follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

$20-30 per hour depending on experience
