Colorist Assistant

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we're seeking a skilled and passionate Colorist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Hair Color Bar, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and helping our clients achieve their beauty goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Leads in providing seamless guest experiences
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing and conditioning, styling, blowouts, and other hair treatments
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory
• Adhere to protocols and procedures for Madison Reed systems and policies
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through upselling services and promoting products

Requirements:

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales; salon or beauty industry experience preferred
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems
