Colorist Assistant

At Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Colorist Assistant to join our team. As a Colorist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences and supporting our licensed colorists in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed colorists in providing hair color services, including shampooing, conditioning, and styling.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Madison Reed's hair color products and services.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Adhere to company protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Active cosmetology license in the state of employment.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in the salon or beauty industry.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, team members will regularly stand, walk for four plus consecutive hours; repetitive and regular bending and twisting at the waist; manipulating fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms or move up to ten pounds. May occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift, push, pull up to ten pounds. Additionally, team members will communicate regularly with guests via ongoing conversations and consultations.
