Job Title: Automation Manufacturing Specialist

At Sonny's Enterprises Inc, we are seeking an experienced Automation Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving consistency and improvement in the execution of critical production tasks and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production standards to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are achieved in production.
  • Participate in daily production meetings to discuss safety, quality, cost, and service, and take ownership of resolving issues on a daily basis.
  • Develop and continuously improve detailed standard operating procedures for all steps on the production lines.
  • Lead process development projects from concept to completion, and manage a pipeline of process improvement projects adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure projects are aligned with business strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • BS Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Certifications (PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification, etc.) preferred.
  • 3-5 years work experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • Deep lean manufacturing expertise, including standard work, workstation design, 5S, and visual management.
  • Working knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Must have experience operating in a Quality Management System.
