About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing and Automation Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our device development and manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of commercial manufacturing processes for orally inhaled and nasal drug products (OINDPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in device development and manufacturing, ensuring consistency with organizational strategy and goals.
  • Lead and execute manufacturing activities, including scale-up and commercialization efforts.
  • Develop and implement best practices for manufacturing commercial products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations and life-cycle management efforts.
  • Interface with third-party contract research, development, and manufacturing organizations.
Requirements
  • M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, or related discipline with 6-9 years of experience, or B.S. with 12-16 years of device development experience in pharmaceutical or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of commercial scale device manufacturing and assembly processes, including manual, semi-automated, and automated processes.
  • Experience with device development and manufacturing in pharmaceutical R&D and product development.
  • Strong English language skills, including writing ability and oral communication.
