Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join our prestigious legal firm. This role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney who is experienced in business law and has a passion for litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing clients in all stages of litigation, from initiation through appeal.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with other attorneys in the firm to strategize and optimize case outcomes.
  • Providing clear, concise, and comprehensive legal advice to clients on a broad range of business matters.
  • Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends to ensure the firm's compliance and to provide the most effective representation for our clients.
  • Participating in business development activities, including networking events, client meetings, and seminars.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of New Jersey.
  • 2-6 years of experience in litigation, specifically in business law.
  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to be functionally independent.
