About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Select Medical, a leading provider of specialized healthcare services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the care and rehabilitation of our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of communication skills and/or swallowing function to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality interdisciplinary patient programming.
  • Participate in peer review and staff performance appraisals to ensure high standards of care.
  • Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a program satisfying the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association's academic and practicum requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Valid license issued by the State in which you are practicing.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in speech-language pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
