Job Overview:
Omni Hotels & Resorts is in search of a Canyons Grill | Mixologist for the exquisite Barton Creek Resort & Spa

Recognized among the premier resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest by Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas by Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards.

Key Responsibilities:


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with Omni standards, as dictated by scheduling which will fluctuate based on the needs of the Resort.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the appropriate attire/uniform and name tag while on duty.


Deliver exceptional service to guests, members, and fellow service staff in a friendly and professional manner, adhering to the proper service protocols.

Prepare beverages for servers, guests, and members according to standard recipes, and serve them as required. Create drinks only when entered in the system.

Stay knowledgeable about the wine list, glassware, and suitable garnishes.

Ensure the bar is well-stocked and maintained in a clean condition at all times.

Monitor inventory levels.

Guarantee consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.

Maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.

Comply with and enforce all policies related to beverage laws.

Assist with front-of-house tasks to meet business demands, such as greeting guests and taking initial drink orders, polishing glassware, silverware, etc.

Support the orientation and training of new team members.

Engage in department meetings and other required training sessions.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and beverage service certifications.

A minimum of 1 year of bartending experience is required. Previous serving experience is preferred.

Extensive knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer is essential.

Must agree to and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.


Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly, both verbally and in writing in English, with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and via telephone.

Must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.

Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods or for an entire shift.

Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.

Working Environment:
Interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional movement around the resort property as needed.

Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Exposure to food items and beverages.

Point of sale system, telephone, wine key
