Job Title: Registered Nurse - Practice

The Manatee Physician Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse - Practice to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and perform venipuncture and procedures as directed by the physician
  • Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guidelines
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and assist in covering the front desk as required
  • Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response
  • Delegate tasks as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act and refer to and consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent and resolve problems or concerns
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
  • Licensed by the State to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum of one to three (1-3) years working as a Registered Nurse required
  • Three to five (3-5) years of related experience preferred
