The Manatee Physician Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse - Practice to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities:- Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and perform venipuncture and procedures as directed by the physician
- Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and assist in covering the front desk as required
- Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response
- Delegate tasks as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act and refer to and consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent and resolve problems or concerns
- Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
- Licensed by the State to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) years working as a Registered Nurse required
- Three to five (3-5) years of related experience preferred
