Key Responsibilities- Verify and update patient information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate with the billing office regarding insurance changes and notify nursing staff of patient arrivals
- Assist with phone coverage and overflow, schedule and reschedule appointments, and monitor the lobby and doorways for patient activity
- Perform check-out duties while working at the check-in position as patient flow dictates
- Schedule follow-up appointments, pull and post charges, and collect co-pays and deductibles
- Assist with answering phones and phone call overflow as needed
- 2+ years of medical office experience
- Athena health EMR experience
- 3 weeks of PTO and 7 paid holidays
