Surgical Services Technician - Full Time - Evening Shift

Become a vital member of our esteemed surgical team, enhancing our legacy of excellence as you deliver essential assistance to surgeons during a diverse array of surgical interventions (including bariatric, robotic, and ENT procedures). You will serve as a scrub assistant, circulation aide, and integral part of the surgical team. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the preparation, care, and upkeep of instruments and materials in the Operating Room. This position is a full-time evening role covering the hours of 11:30am - 9:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Operating Room/Surgical Technician in a hospital environment
Required Qualifications
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologists or as a Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of employment. Must provide exam date prior to employment commencement and complete a six-month probationary period from the hire date.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician, or similar training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • High school diploma or GED.
