Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care as a member of the anesthesia team
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
  • Develop and implement plans for post-anesthesia care to ensure optimal recovery and minimize complications

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • BCLS Certification
