Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain accurate operational baseline diagrams for various installations using advanced modeling tools.
  • Document and understand the network infrastructure and related systems at various locations.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure diagrams align with overall architectural goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information and validate diagram accuracy.
  • Ensure all models are up-to-date and reflect any changes in the operational environment.
  • Travel to various locations to conduct on-site assessments.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing insights and updates on modeling progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in network modeling and design.
  • Experience with modeling tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Visio, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of networks, network technology, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: UML, SysML.
  • Modeling/diagramming experience with modeling and diagramming tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DoD and USMC structure.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps concepts, practices, procedures, systems, and interfaces.
  • Prior experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or USMC operational environments.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingsness and ability to travel significantly.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary Work.
