Job Summary

The Executive Operations Manager will play a key role in managing staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Staff Management: Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure profitability.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies to improve guest services and operational efficiency.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Assist in developing marketing and promotional initiatives to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Representation: Represent the General Manager in their absence, making decisions and managing operations as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as an executive operations manager, operations manager, or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
