Job Title: Occupational Therapist

At Della Infotech, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients to include evaluation, assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, and related documentation, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to obtain and interpret data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
  • Develop treatment plans, direct, supervise and treat patients in accordance with treatment plan using treatment modalities
  • Prepare written report of diagnostic findings, intervention techniques used, progress made and follow-up status in a time frame according to policy and procedure
  • Consults and communicates with patient, family and other multi-disciplinary team members and contracted agencies
  • Completes required documentation on patients and maintains other department records in accordance with departmental and health center policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • B.S., B.A., M.O.T., M.S., or M.A. degree required
  • Registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Iowa required
  • Prefer demonstrated competence in an outpatient care setting for at least one year
  • Must have excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
