  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of operational costs, strategic planning, and forecasting related to diverse manufacturing activities.
    • Oversee and manage the Zero-Base Budget tool.
    • Investigate and compile variance analysis along with detailed explanations.
    • Facilitate and present monthly cost reviews to key stakeholders including plant managers and executive leadership.
    • Ensure the accuracy of financial data reported for the designated entity in collaboration with the Finance Shared Services Center.
    • Update and verify product costing information to support the sales team effectively.
  • Develop and maintain advanced digital reporting tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI, etc.).
  • Analyze capital projects and prepare business cases, validating profitability assessments and coordinating the authorization process from nomination to approval.
  • Implement controlling initiatives and processes that pertain to business planning, operational reporting, and ongoing improvement.
  • Lead or facilitate a Continuous Improvement Team with the support of Vallourec Performance Analysts.
  • Assist in benchmarking operations to enhance cost efficiency and optimize production loading practices.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in an industrial setting is essential.
  • Capability to create, execute, and manage highly independent project work.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Adaptable and capable of working within evolving business conditions and technologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES:
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated skills in complex data analysis and digital proficiency (with Power BI or similar BI applications).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with all operational areas, including Executive Management.
  • Act as a change agent - coach to implement actionable programs and ensure sustainability and evolution.
