ResponsibilitiesAs the region's only Level I trauma center, USA Health University Hospital provides advanced and innovative patient care.
In addition to our medical education programs, which offer first-class training experiences for the next generation of physicians and scientists, we deliver excellence in care while improving the quality of life for residents across the Gulf Coast.

The Department of Urology at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama has openings for a full-time/consultant Pediatric Urology faculty to serve as Division Chief.
The successful candidate will have completed an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Urology and have a desire to advance and build a Pediatric Urology program.
They will have a demonstrated track record of leadership in their field and be able to attend to patients, teach residents and medical students, and assist the Department Chair in leading the division of Pediatric Urology.
In addition, the incumbent will be expected to engage in service activities and have the opportunity to engage in clinical and basic science research if desired.
Academic rank is open to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor level candidates and will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic productivity.
