Staff Mechanical Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Mechanical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of the engineering industry, particularly in the areas of sensor technology, data acquisition systems, analog and digital signal processing, test systems, measurement systems, and performance design evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement test systems and measurement systems to evaluate the performance of our products and systems.
- Utilize knowledge of sensor technology and data acquisition systems to improve testing processes and outcomes.
- Leverage skills in analog and digital signal processing to enhance the functionality and performance of our products.
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on projects, offering expertise in Python, JMP, fabrication, CAD, and avionics.
- Conduct thorough and detailed testing to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Analyze and interpret test data, providing reports and insights to guide product development and improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience with sensor technology, data acquisition systems, analog and digital signal processing, test systems, and measurement systems.
- Proficiency in Python, JMP, fabrication, CAD, and avionics.
- Strong ability to evaluate performance design and make necessary adjustments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
