Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St Paul and Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Social Worker I in Elliot Park/hybrid. This role offers an opportunity to create meaningful connections with clients and make a lasting impact on their lives.
Job Summary
We are looking for a self-motivated professional who can develop and implement personalized service plans, navigate complex community resources, and provide education and support to our clients. As a Social Worker I, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, creating comprehensive service plans, and advocating on behalf of your clients to ensure they receive the best possible care.
About You
- You have a strong background in social work, preferably with experience working with diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and mental illness.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- You are passionate about social justice and committed to providing high-quality person-centered services that prioritize client autonomy and well-being.
About the Role
- Develop and implement comprehensive service plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Navigate complex community resources to secure benefits, entitlements, and services that support client success.
- Provide education and support to clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation, adhering to Catholic Charities' standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and optimize client outcomes.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $62,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
