RN Charge Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Charge Nurse to join our team at CHSGa. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and document patient condition, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and other medical devices, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients.
- Deliver medications, including setting up, rotating, charting, ordering, and administering medications to patients.
- Order and use stock drugs, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
- Administer and document insulin, as well as use and deliver PRN medications, topical treatments, and narcotic medications.
- Apply sterile dressings, operate pressure reduction surfaces, and use oral airways, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Insert, irrigate, and care for male and female catheters, as well as deliver tube feedings and IV medications.
- Collect lab specimens, interpret results, and implement IV administration, ensuring accurate and timely patient care.
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients, documenting and billing supplies used.
- Provide oversight and direction to unlicensed nursing personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain effective lines of communication with attending physicians, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or is a graduate of an approved RN program.
- An active RN License to practice in the State of Georgia.
