Job SummaryThe Senior Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for engaging in all phases of a project from inception to completion of construction. This role is designed to grow individuals and nurture design talents.
In this position, you will:
- Design and develop plumbing systems, including Healthcare/Life Sciences/Multifamily.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems, and topographical maps.
- Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
- Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls.
- Perform QA/QC of design work.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in plumbing design and engineering.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology.
- Experience with laboratories/medical facilities design.
- An excellent work ethic and attitude.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office.
- Ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects.
- Excellent ability to read, interpret, and implement plumbing design documentation.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
This role is based in Phoenix and requires occasional travel, approximately 20% of the time.
