About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Utilities Operations Specialist to join our team at DuPont. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our utility systems, including boilers, steam systems, and other critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Utility Equipment: You will be responsible for operating and maintaining all utility equipment, including boilers, chillers, water conditioning systems, and wastewater removal systems.
  • Perform Corrective and Preventative Maintenance: You will perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment, as well as troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
  • Participate in Achieving Company Quality Goals: You will work closely with our quality team to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Operate in Compliance with Company Safety Practices: You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operated in a safe and compliant manner, and that all safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Mechanical Knowledge: You must have advanced mechanical knowledge in the maintenance trades, including knowledge of boilers and steam systems, rotating equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to Work Independently: You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and make judgments in job planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Chemical or Pharmaceutical Environment: Experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical environment is highly preferred, as is journeyman or apprenticeship documentation.
  • Computer Experience: Computer experience is also highly preferred, as is the ability to satisfy all training courses and obtain certification from trade schools.
