Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Ascension Borgess in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support to our Pharmacist team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems
  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department
  • Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds
  • Repackage bulk medications
  • Receive and store incoming supplies
  • Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
