Job Title: Senior Data Manager

RTX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Manager to join our team. As a Senior Data Manager, you will be responsible for identifying data deliverables, building data tracks, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand contracts to identify data deliverables
  • Work in a Product Data Management (PDM) system to capture, manage, and track data deliverables and/or receivables
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain requested data
  • Proofread data for compliance to contractual requirements
  • Manage the data deliverable schedule and provide data to customers on-time
  • Learn and understand contractually required markings applied to data
  • Run forecast reports and provide them to stakeholders
  • Provide metrics related to on-time deliveries and outstanding dispositions upon request
  • Review and approve sub-tier supplier statements of work for data requirements
  • Support program meetings and provide training to program personnel and customers/suppliers
  • Handle and protect Company Intellectual Property (IP) as well as U.S. government IP and classified information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with data management and/or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in a customer support/service role
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of U.S. government defense contracts
  • Knowledge of U.S. government specifications and instructions such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5230.24 Distribution Statements on Technical Documents, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (DoD 5220.22-M)
  • Collaborate in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
