About the Role

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct both routine and intricate MR imaging procedures, ensuring precision in every aspect of image acquisition.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all imaging activities performed.
  • Utilize various post-processing and 3D workstations to enhance imaging results.
  • Oversee the archiving of images with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media safely and effectively.
  • Address the physical and emotional needs of patients with sensitivity and care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • ARRT and CRT licenses, with a mandatory MR certification.
  • Alternatively, ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) certifications are acceptable.
  • A valid venipuncture certificate and BCLS certification from a recognized organization.
  • A degree from an accredited AMA Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Preferred qualifications include an AA or BS degree and at least one year of MRI experience, particularly with Siemens equipment.
  • Strong adaptability to evolving technologies and the ability to recognize contraindications for imaging exams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with independent decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with clinical billing processes and a solid understanding of human anatomy and pathology.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary Range

$65.56 per hour
