GAINSCO is currently seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster Level III for our Claims department.

This position is ideal for those looking to advance their careers in the insurance industry, as our company is poised for growth, offering numerous opportunities for advancement.

In this role, you will investigate and assess claims while ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and state regulations.

As a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in recovering from accidents.

Building strong relationships while managing the claims process in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and investigate submitted documentation to establish proof of loss.

- Utilize effective investigation techniques and communication skills to resolve claims amicably, with a focus on litigation handling and coverage issues.

- Manage soft tissue bodily injury claims, ranging from non-complex to complex coverages and liability investigations.
- Schedule inspections and locate storage options for vehicles.
- Gather statements from all parties involved in the incident.
- Ensure compliance with legal guidelines, company policies, and state and federal insurance regulations.
- Collect additional information from claimants, witnesses, healthcare providers, employers, and other insurance companies to conduct thorough investigations.

- Initiate investigations for claims with complex coverage concerns, demonstrating a strong understanding of comparative negligence and injury causation.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.

License/Certification:
- A valid State Adjuster License is required.

Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Auto Insurance as a Claims Adjuster is required.
- Experience interpreting policy language and state statutes is essential.
- Previous experience handling minor to moderately severe attorney-represented injury claims is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication skills, providing information clearly and professionally.

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
