Job Summary

The Security and Safety Monitor is a vital member of our team at Telecare Corporation, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and staff in our Crisis Residential Treatment programs. This role requires a unique blend of security expertise, mental health knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety rounds to identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Assist in welcoming new residents to the program and provide support to help them settle in.
  • Notify supervisors and agencies of any incidents of abuse or suspected abuse.
  • Participate in the facilitation of the program's safety committee to ensure a collaborative approach to safety and security.
  • May assist in providing direct care services to clients, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in security or safety-related roles, with a focus on mental health services.
  • Valid Security Guard Registration with California BSIS or completion of required training and licensure within 90 days of employment.
  • CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification required.
What We Offer

Telecare Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $24.11, with geographic differentials applied based on location. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time position with shifts available Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. The expected starting wage range is $24.11, with opportunities for advancement based on performance and experience.
