Fire Alarm Service Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Service Department as a Fire Alarm Service Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day service activities, maintaining existing and new service accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day service activities, including scheduling service calls, invoicing, and scheduling inspections
  • Call on existing and new commercial business customers to maintain fire alarm services mandated by State law
  • Schedule and complete services related to service agreements, including planned maintenance and repairs
  • Monitor and follow up on pending repairs, identify parts/materials needed, and order parts from distributors
  • Schedule and follow up on all monthly/semiannually/annually reoccurring service accounts, including ensuring timely communication with contract customers, key customers, and subcontractors
  • Collect building alarm system information, consult with building/facility personnel and property managers to make service recommendations, and perform account maintenance to maintain and strengthen relationships
  • Promptly respond to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner
  • Establish and maintain a customer satisfaction follow-up program and provide management with feedback
Requirements:
  • Some college education or equivalent experience
  • Service dispatching, office administration, and customer service with at least 3 years combined experience
  • Must be organized, able to work without constant supervision, able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Shows initiative regularly and engages in proactive behavior while looking for service opportunities
  • Ability to contribute and operate in a team environment and coordinate with other departments
  • Fire Alarm and security industry knowledge helpful
