The Mechanic Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of production equipment and machinery within the Coca-Cola Consolidated facility. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Monitor and maintain equipment inventories, including ordering and stocking parts and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operation of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and electrical prints.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to noise, wet conditions, and extreme temperatures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
