Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor

At BrightSpring Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals with neurological conditions, such as brain or spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's, Stroke, and similar conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide empirically based psychological interventions to individuals and their families to maximize their participation in the community.
  • Perform brief assessments at various stages of the counseling process as appropriate.
  • Provide feedback to individuals, families, and treatment teams regarding behavioral, emotional, psychological, and cognitive rehabilitation issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the rehabilitation team.
  • Document treatment progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Participate in case conferences and family educational meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience and counseling individuals.
  • Maintenance of professional license and/or certification as required by the state of Florida.
  • Successful completion of any required pre-employment evaluation tests.
