The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment, instrumentation, and controls.

The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be part of a team that values safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily preventative maintenance work orders
  • Perform daily reactive maintenance breakdown work orders
  • Monitor plant equipment for proper operation
  • Determine repair parts needed using equipment manuals
  • Monitor and report on spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory
  • Perform additional routine duties as assigned, such as moving inventory or driving to local vendors
  • Participate in on-call rotations during evening and weekend hours
  • Troubleshoot plant equipment, including hot oil systems, packaging equipment, and more
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and experience driving forklift trucks and scissor lifts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial production maintenance environment
  • Proficient in welding, threading, and pipe fitting
  • Knowledge of single loop controllers and PLCs for troubleshooting
  • Experience with mechanical equipment disassembly, repair, and reassembly
  • Knowledge of 480-volt motors and VFDs for troubleshooting and replacement

Compensation:

$31.00 to $35.00 per hour
