Project Coordinator Opportunity

Plexos Group, LLC is seeking a talented Cost Estimator to coordinate disaster recovery management projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the development of detailed cost estimates and collaborate with stakeholders.

Job Description: As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating and estimating the costs of recovery and reconstruction projects following wildfire disasters. You will conduct site assessments, develop detailed cost estimates, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient financial planning.

Salary Range: The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $130,000, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments to understand the extent of damage and scope of necessary recovery work.
  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for recovery projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
  • Utilize cost estimating software and national cost data sources to prepare estimates.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support cost estimates, ensuring they are traceable, verifiable, and defendable.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scopes and budgets.
Essential Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in disaster recovery or construction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
