Job Summary

Dynatect Manufacturing Inc is seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our team. As an Assembler II, you will be responsible for assembling ball screws to LSI and customer specifications, using precision finishing methods to achieve ideal running characteristics for new and repaired assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe and courteous manner
  • Assemble ball screws to LSI and customer specifications
  • Use precision finishing methods to achieve ideal running characteristics
  • Measure work pieces and progress of work
  • Maintain all tools and ensure proper working order
  • Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure quality standards
  • Read and understand directions
  • Ability to load and unload parts with assistance into fixtures
  • Basic understanding of blueprints and work orders

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher level education
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to use sound judgment and reasoning in all situations
  • Ability to prioritize, managing time and workload efficiently and effectively
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to read precision gages: micrometers, calipers, etc
  • Ability to read a ruler or tape measure

Working Conditions and Environment

  • Must be able to stand and walk
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle and feel and be able to reach with hands and arms in any direction for an entire shift
  • Must be able to see fine detail with the aid of a magnifying glass
  • Must be able to concentrate on fine detail work for periods of 2+ hours
  • Sitting for 2/3 of a shift or more; sit stand alternate
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
