Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare Allied. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic services, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

The Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing diagnostic radiographic services, including CT scans and other imaging procedures
• Operating imaging equipment, including CT scanners and other medical devices
• Positioning patients and immobilizing them as necessary
• Calculating exposure factors and practicing radiation protection
• Evaluating radiographs for technical quality and ensuring accurate diagnoses
• Assuming care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations and procedures
• Practicing aseptic technique and assisting physicians with administration of contrast media
• Recognizing signs and symptoms of emergencies and initiating life support measures as necessary
• Maintaining IV skills and contributing to patient records
• Assuming responsibility for assigned areas and providing input for equipment and supply purchase decisions
• Instructing students in radiography programs and assuming acting supervisory responsibilities as needed
• Pursuing ongoing continuing education and contributing to quality assurance programs

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 1+ years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
• MO licensure required
