Position Summary:

We are in search of dynamic individuals with a strong background in Management and Leadership within the Retail/Convenience sector. This role demands experience in overseeing a high-traffic retail environment. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding communication skills and demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented mindset. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans, will be offered, with relocation assistance considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a welcoming shopping atmosphere for all patrons.
  • Effectively address customer and team member inquiries and concerns.
  • Implement the PMG Sales Strategy and operational plans to enhance sales performance.
  • Review financial statements and reports to optimize store profitability.
  • Oversee daily tasks and performance evaluations for all team members.
  • Manage daily operational paperwork, including cash handling and inventory control.
  • Coordinate labor and team schedules efficiently.
  • Uphold integrity, honesty, and respect in all interactions.
  • Foster relationships with local community partners to enhance store visibility.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to address challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with PMG's standards of operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in staff selection, training, and performance management.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to drive positive change through coaching and team development.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
