We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Algona, IA.
Job DescriptionAs an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of caseload. You will conduct resident screens as directed by the supervising therapist, participate in the clinical team process, and provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
Your responsibilities will include collecting assessment data, preparing treatment materials, and assisting with other clerical duties as directed. You will also provide training to patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising therapist.
Requirements- An associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an AOTA-accredited program and professional licensure in the state of hire or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate the Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
