Millennium Therapy is a patient-focused, therapist-owned company that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in Iowa. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Algona, IA.
Job SummaryWe offer a flexible part-time schedule of 5-10 hours per week, with opportunities for professional growth and development. As a COTA, you will assist in the provision of screens, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment of patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct resident screens and collect assessment data as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Participate in the clinical team process and provide training to caregiver staff.
- Collect assessment data and assist with other clerical duties as needed.
- An associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an AOTA-accredited program and professional licensure in the state of hire or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate the occupation.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
